This series of 6 videos portray several of Austin’s most vulnerable wildlife and rarest habitat. Most are federally listed as endangered.

As climate change in Texas cycled over millennia, life above ground was repeatedly wiped out, but life in caves remained stable. Isolated below, this put cave-dwelling life on an extraordinarily long evolutionary journey, creating some remarkable wildlife.

This project evolved from work provided by acclaimed local nature videographers, the footage is slowed down, minimal text added, and carry no sound, all to create a hypnotic, calming effect for anxious visitors in the Austin airport.
