And in the end everything dies. Other works have grown from a deepening awareness of death. By practicing to stay present with one’s own inevitable ending, life is more meaningful. As Trungpa Rinpoche says, “You will live and you will die. Both are good.” 

These contemplations have led  to the creation of alternative funerary arts – designs of highly personalized cremation urns and cast paper boats that carry ashes out to sea before disintegrating.
