SCULPTURE FOR WILDLIFE

As we continue to remove habitat an alarming rate, currently resulting in 1 species lost every 20 minutes, we need to consider replacing it. These works do just that. Stand-alone structures of floating bat caves, vulture-nesting towers, and raptor stands provide habitat for airborne wildlife. Cavities in entrance gates and tubing under the earth offer shelter for small creatures. Bat housing in carports, and dovecotes in fascia are all ongoing experiments to determine best practices for wildlife inclusion.

And therefore yield to our animal friends the same right as ourselves to inhabit this land."   - Sitting Bull
