Birds love these houses! Hand-felted from pure Merino wool and then Ecoprinted to blend into a bird’s natural habitat. This is a labor-intensive process that produces a beautiful nature-infused work of art. Long lasting, highly water-resistant, and with a stem for hanging. Clean them out each fall and they will become a favorite nesting site year after year.

The process of felting begins with layering wool fibers that, with the addition of soap, water, and agitation, morph into a strong and beautiful shape. Ecoprinting only uses nature to make prints. Leaves are gathered from the landscape, laid down on fabric, and then simmered in a primordial soup of natural elements such as onionskins, walnut bark, and acorns.

The leaves used on this nest are eucalyptus, oak, sumac, rose, and maple.
