This work has 2 separate steps - the first is wet-felting a form using 100% Merino white wool. Next is ecoprinting using the leaves of Bigtooth maple, Whidbey Island smokebush, rose, and both eucalyptus leaves and berries.

The process of felting begins with layering wool fibers that, with the addition of soap, water, and agitation, morph into a strong and beautiful shape.

Ecoprinting only uses nature to make prints. Leaves are gathered from the landscape, laid down on fabric, and then simmered in a primordial soup of natural elements such as onionskins, walnut bark, and acorns.
